Hello and welcome to The ReInsurer - The Insurer’s answer to the cancellation of this year’s industry gatherings such as the Monte Carlo Rendez-Vous.
The past six months have brought about unprecedented change across the globe. While many of us would have been busy preparing our calendars and packing bags ahead of travelling to Monaco, this year the vast majority of us will be at home or, for a select few, in the office.
But just because this year’s Rendez-Vous de Septembre in Monte Carlo has been cancelled, it does not mean that renewal discussions have similarly been scrapped.
At The Insurer, we believe sharing ideas and good practice is essential for a measured response which is why this September, we will rebrand as the The ReInsurer and will be working hard to keep you up to date with the latest knowledge and insight you need to help you negotiate through what is expected to be one of the most challenging renewals in a generation.
Over the next four weeks, our editorial teams in London, New York and Los Angeles will bring you up to the minute alerts, news and analysis on the biggest talking points in the reinsurance industry around the world.
At the same time, you will hear from some of the industry’s most senior executives and their thoughts on what the key issues are heading into the renewal period through one-to-one video interviews, podcasts, virtual group discussions and our weekly edition of The ReInsurer, our revised take on our must read Monte Carlo dailies which will be produced throughout the month.
All of this will be delivered directly to your inbox so you can access it on your desktop, tablet or phone. If you haven’t already, there is still time to register for an entire month of FREE coverage of the global reinsurance markets, by registering at The ReInsurer where you can also find a full breakdown of what we’ve got coming up this month.
But from all of us at The ReInsurer we look forward to bringing you the latest updates throughout the rest of the month as the industry gears itself up for what is sure to be an interesting, and potentially testing, time.
Let the renewal season commence!
