California insurance commissioner finalises reinsurance regulation under Sustainable Insurance Strategy

California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara has issued a new regulation under the Sustainable Insurance Strategy that aims to stabilise the state’s insurance market and address wildfire risks by requiring insurers to expand coverage in high-risk areas.
