The Insurer's Pre-Monte Carlo Forum is back. On Wednesday 4 September our two-hour masterclass on the London and international (re)insurance markets returns to take the pulse of the industry ahead of the annual Rendez-Vous de Septembre.

The agenda for the morning will start with a keynote presentation from each speaker, followed by an industry expert panel, before finishing off with an interactive Q&A session.

The panel of hand-picked industry experts will debate the key issues in today’s (re)insurance market as it gears up for the significant 1.1 renewals. Some of the questions we’ll be tackling will include:

  • Will rate hardening continue into 2024 and has property cat reached its limit?
  • What factors will impact reinsurance buyers in the year ahead?
  • Could there be a shift in the current market trajectory in supply and demand?
  • How successful have ILS managers been in retaining investor confidence and driving interest into new areas?
  • Are clients seeking alternative solutions?
  • Can we expect a Class of 2024 to emerge and more M&A?

The Pre-Monte Carlo Forum also marks the first week of #ReinsuranceMonth. For the whole month of September, The Insurer's editorial teams in London, New York and Atlanta will dedicate an entire month of FREE coverage to the global reinsurance markets for the fourth consecutive year in a row.
