Wells Fargo: Hawaii wildfires to cause “billions of dollars” of losses

The Hawaii wildfires will cause “billions of dollars” of losses but will not be material for reinsurers, Wells Fargo analysts have forecast, while Karen Clark & Co (KCC) has predicted the total industry loss will be the second largest in the state’s history.
