UK terrorism market calls for clarity on incoming Protect Duty
The UK’s incoming Protect Duty legislation – also known as Martyn’s Law – has the potential to dramatically improve policyholder resilience and take-up of terrorism cover among SMEs, but (re)insurers have raised concern that a current lack of clarity from government could mean that firms go unprepared and under-protected.
