Third generation of total return reinsurers being discussed: AM Best

Hardening reinsurance pricing will improve total return reinsurers’ underwriting performance over the next few years, although investment returns remain a wildcard, while a potential third generation of such reinsurers is being worked on, AM Best has commented.
