Swiss Re’s Haegeli: Closing protection gap must be industry focus post-pandemic

The global (re)insurance sector must act now to better protect society and global economies from a “ticking time bomb” of systemic risks such as cyber, financial crisis and the threat of future pandemics, according to Jerome Haegeli, group chief economist at Swiss Re.
