RenRe records Q2 earnings beat as UW income increases even though CR ticks up

RenaissanceRe recorded a solid earnings beat in Q2 2024 with underwriting income that increased over a third even as its combined ratio ticked up 80 basis points, while the Bermudian reinsurer’s fee income grew 48.3 percent in the period.
