PRA warns insurers to mitigate claims inflation impact

The Bank of England has said it is concerned over the potential impact of high claims inflation on UK insurers, warning that a persistent spike in claims inflation may result in a “material deterioration” of solvency coverage for some firms unless mitigating actions are taken.
