Porch’s HOA files to set up reciprocal insurer in Texas

Home services software company Porch Group’s insurance business, Homeowners of America (HOA), has filed an application to form and license a Texas reciprocal insurance exchange as part of a strategy to reduce exposure to earnings volatility from its insurance segment.
