Market “reset” at 1.1 will make attracting new capital easier in 2023: Vickers
The market reset witnessed across a number classes of business at the 1 January renewals – leading to dramatically improved underwriting conditions for reinsurers – should make the sector “sufficiently attractive” for new capital to enter this year, Gallagher’s Re’s James Vickers has predicted.
