Kemper’s Lacher expects to return to operating profit in H1

Investors sent Kemper’s share price up 8 percent following a Q4 earnings beat and management forecasting a return to positive operating income in the first half of this year, while the auto-focused insurer also revealed it has discontinued buying its catastrophe aggregate reinsurance program for 2023 and reduced the XoL limit.
