KBW drops Munich Re rating on risk/return deterioration

KBW has downgraded its rating on Munich Re to “market perform” on the back of fears the group may face challenges in deploying further capital at presently high returns, although it stressed that the reinsurer’s balance sheet and conservatism remain strong.
