James River “confident” in reserve adequacy, but analysts less sure

Despite James River CEO Frank D’Orazio declaring the company is “confident” in its reserve adequacy after the carrier booked another prior-year reserve charge in Q4, KBW and JMP analysts are less certain with the latter declaring a sale of the business “is the best path forward”.
