IBC: Hurricane Fiona caused C$660mn in insured losses

Hurricane Fiona is estimated to have caused C$660mn ($480mn) of insured damage in Canada, making it the country’s 10th largest insured weather event, the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) has said citing initial estimates from Catastrophe Indices and Quantification.
