HDI confirms Indiana Lumbermens deal and targets surety and specialty expansion

HDI Global Insurance Company has confirmed the acquisition of Indiana Lumbermens Insurance Company (ILIC) from Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company, in a deal which the German industrial lines carrier said strengthens its position in the US market as it eyes growth in the surety and specialty segments.
