Gallagher Re’s Vickers: Market “has done its job” despite bruising renewal
The reinsurance market functioned as it should at the 1 January renewal as reinsurers were able to get improved pricing in areas of their books of business that needed it and buyers were able to secure cover, despite challenging negotiations, according to Gallagher Re’s James Vickers.
