Zurich-affiliated Farmers and AIG are the latest major US insurers to cut back writing in peak zone cat regions, with AIG reportedly planning to scale back high-net-worth (HNW) homeowners writings across 200 zip codes and Farmers suspending writing new homeowners business in Florida earlier this year.
