DLG returns to H1 profitability but misses consensus

Direct Line Group (DLG) returned to profitability in the first half of 2024 with the UK carrier reporting an operating profit of £63.7mn ($83.5mn) from ongoing operations, compared with a loss of £93.7mn in H1 2023.
