CinFin swings to UW profit and records marginal earnings beat in Q1

Cincinnati Financial swung to a $131mn first quarter underwriting profit and cut 7.1 points from its combined ratio mainly from lower catastrophe losses, while its earnings for the period came in marginally ahead of analysts’ consensus forecast.
