CatIQ: Jasper wildfire insured losses estimated at C$880mn-plus

Insurers are facing losses of at least C$880mn ($654mn) from the wildfire that tore through parts of the municipality of Jasper, Canada, and Jasper National Park earlier this summer, according to an initial estimate from Catastrophe Indices and Quantification (CatIQ).
