Catalina P&C legacy future in question as Apollo shifts focus to life
Apollo Global Management – the parent of Bermudian run-off specialist Catalina – is pivoting the platform to increasingly focus on life insurance transactions as management at the private equity giant recently told investors it does “not believe the closed block P&C market to be that attractive”.
