Banyan agrees capacity and capital deal with PartnerRe for new excess casualty unit

Banyan Risk Group has inked a long-term strategic partnership with PartnerRe to write excess casualty insurance and recruited market veteran Alan Rodrigues from Markel to lead newly formed Bermuda-based platform Banyan Excess Liability Ltd (BELL).
