Aviva leads insurers facing Butlin’s lawsuit over flooded resort
UK holiday camp owner Butlin’s is suing a host of carriers led by London-listed Aviva for more than £60mn ($75mn) in a row over whether heavy rainfall and flooding that damaged one of its seaside resorts constituted the insurers’ definition of a storm.
