Aon: Japanese cat XoLs face low double-digit rate rises in “orderly” APAC renewal
The 1 April Asia Pacific (APAC) reinsurance renewals progressed in an “orderly fashion” with Japanese catastrophe excess of loss (XoL) programs facing “low double digit” risk-adjusted rate rises, while South Korean carriers found discussions “slow and somewhat frustrating” as they navigated challenging market conditions, Aon has reported.
