AmFam’s Main Street Insurance quits writing personal lines

American Family subsidiary Main Street Insurance is exiting writing personal lines business - a market segment in which it is thought to have generated around a third of its $1.15bn in gross premiums in 2023 - to instead focus on “a tremendous opportunity” in commercial lines.
