AM Best stays negative on Topa after acquisition agreement
AM Best has maintained its under review with negative implications status on the B++ financial strength rating of Topa Insurance Company and its subsidiary Dorchester Insurance Company following news that a recently formed private holding company has agreed to buy the specialty insurer.
