AM Best goes positive on reinsurance on “robust” margins and hard market changes

AM Best has changed its outlook for the global reinsurance segment from stable to positive, pointing to “robust” profit margins and the impact of higher attachment points and tighter terms and conditions (T&C) following a period of “drastic” repricing.
