AM Best expects ~$5bn Helene insured losses with primary insurers bearing the brunt

Hurricane Helene’s losses will be around $5bn with primary carriers bearing the brunt while the storm will also be a test for Florida cat specialists, newly formed reciprocals and take-out companies, AM Best has commented.
