US insurance composite notches 0.7% weekly gain as Wall Street slides on mixed jobs report

All major Wall Street benchmarks fell into negative territory on Friday after profit booking in the technology sector, but the North American insurance composite compiled by investment banks Stonybrook Capital and Weild & Co managed to stay afloat, buoyed by the positive performance of large-cap insurance stocks.
