WR Berkley grows UW income 33% to $268mn, NPW to quarterly record $2.6bn
WR Berkley posted record gross and net premium written (NPW) in the third quarter – growing NPW to $2.6bn – and increased underwriting income by a third to $268mn, as company wide catastrophe losses edged up to $94mn from $74mn the year prior.
