Trisura falls to Q4 net loss on C$81.5mn recoverable write-down in US fronting unit
Trisura’s fourth quarter results have been hit by a one-time C$81.5mn ($59.9mn) write-down of reinsurance recoverables in its US fronting business, or C$64.4mn after tax, resulting in a consolidated quarterly loss of C$40.3mn, while US gross premiums written in the quarter grew 52.3 percent.
