Travelers is $800mn towards its $1.3bn cat XoL retention

Travelers has accumulated $800mn towards the $1.3bn retention on its property catastrophe aggregate excess of loss (XoL) reinsurance treaty covering this calendar year, with the insurer also reporting that it achieved flat pricing on its 1 July northeast cat treaty renewal.
