Travelers falls to Q2 loss on back of $854mn cat losses; expects $400mn PG&E recovery
US insurer Travelers will report a net loss per diluted share of $0.16 – or a core loss per diluted share of $0.20 – in the second quarter as a result of a higher level of catastrophe losses in the reporting period as well as the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on its investment portfolio.
