Suncorp confirms A$214mn BI loss provision following test case appeal rejection

Suncorp has reaffirmed its A$214mn ($162mn) loss provision for potential business interruption (BI) claims related to Covid-19 and said it does not expect additional losses as a result of the High Court’s decision last week to deny an application to appeal a judgment in a key test case.
