South African court orders Santam to pay hotel group’s BI losses
In the second Covid-19 business interruption ruling to come out of South Africa, a Cape Town court has ordered Santam to pay the claims of a hotel group and a restaurant, with the judge agreeing with the approach adopted in the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) matter.
