Sompo International falls to $14mn H1 loss

Sompo International fell to a loss of $14mn in the first half of the financial year – compared to an adjusted profit of $190mn in the same period of 2019 – as the overseas P&C arm of Japanese insurance giant Sompo set aside ¥19.0bn ($176.4mn) in Covid-19 provisions.
