Scor vows “strong resolve” at 1.1 European renewals after “sufficient pain” in 2021
Reinsurers are continuing to show resolve as the clock ticks down to 1 January renewals with 2021 losses, pressure from the dislocated retro market and positive pricing momentum in primary insurance driving carriers to hold firm on rate expectations, according to Scor Global P&C’s EMEA regional head Stuart McMurdo.
