#ReinsuranceMonth 2022: The highlights
For the third consecutive year, The Insurer designated September as #ReinsuranceMonth – dedicating the entire month to providing in-depth coverage of the trends that will shape upcoming reinsurance renewals.
Throughout September our senior editors have explored the themes expected to front of mind at the 1 January renewals such as property catastrophe appetite and inflationary impacts.
As highlighted by our coverage in recent days, these factors have been compounded by the late September impact of Hurricane Ian, which will be one of the costliest natural catastrophe losses on record for the (re)insurance sector.
During the course of the month The Insurer TV team presented interviews with more than 30 senior executives across major international (re)insurance hubs, including our pop-up studio suite in Monte Carlo’s iconic Hôtel de Paris.
The Rendez-Vous de Septembre was held as an in-person event this year for the first time since 2019 – we produced four bumper daily editions which can be viewed in PDF format below, packed with news, data, analysis and thought leadership from senior reinsurance executives.
We also hosted two executive roundtable discussions in Monte Carlo enabling debate between global industry leaders on critical market issues.
These are just a few of the highlights from the past 30 days. Make sure you visit our website to catch up with all of our exclusive content that you might have missed.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors who have made #ReinsuranceMonth possible, as well as our valued readers.
Stay tuned as The Insurer continues to bring you in-depth reinsurance news and insight ahead of the 1 January 2023 renewals.
And that’s… a wrap!
