Perils ups Eastern Australian flood losses to record-breaking A$6.29bn

Insured losses from this year’s Eastern Australia floods are now estimated to total A$6.29bn ($4.33bn), marking the event as the country’s largest insured catastrophe loss, according to loss aggregator Perils.
