PE investment in 2021 insurance M&A already at its highest in last decade

Uncertainty surrounding possible claims and the potential for losses arising from the pandemic have not stopped private equity and venture capital firms from investing over $19bn in insurance companies so far this year, according to a new report from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
