P&C stocks slump as virus fears jolt global markets

The European and US property casualty (re)insurance industry did not manage to avoid the broad sell off across the markets on Monday, with the majority of major carriers and brokers seeing their share prices dip on concerns that a spike in coronavirus infections could derail a promising economic recovery.
