PartnerRe H1 operating income up 24% as non-life CR ticks up 1.6 pts to 83.5%

Covéa-owned pure-play reinsurer PartnerRe has reported a 24 percent increase in operating income for the first half, in results that include a 1.6 deterioration in its non-life combined ratio to 83.5 percent and a 7 percent increase in consolidated gross premiums written to $5.34bn.
