Optis: North American agent/broker M&A down 24% in first half

North American insurance agent and broker M&A deals were down 36 percent in the second quarter compared to the same period of 2022, and down 24 percent for the first half with Hub the most active acquirer, according to Optis Partners, which suggested some “fairly larger transactions” may soon occur.
