McKinsey: First-movers in net-zero will reap benefits “irrespective of public commitments”

Insurers that seize the growth opportunities of the net-zero transition will generate “first-mover” benefits similar to those achieved by the firms that explored renewable energy in the early 2000s, McKinsey & Company has said, urging P&C insurers to embrace carbon-conscious underwriting as a matter of priority.
