Lemonade’s share price drops 12% on loss ratio spike and Metromile deal
Investors have sent Lemonade’s share price down over 12 percent in trading Tuesday following third quarter results that included a spike in loss ratio and the announcement of the acquisition of Metromile, while Lemonade’s management has commented on an earnings call that reinsurance is not a necessity.
