Lacher: Kemper “responding earlier” to auto loss trends than rivals as shares slide 4%
Joseph Lacher has commented that Kemper has identified increasing frequency and severity of auto losses ahead of its competitors, which he said will also have to respond like his company did when it reported a big earnings miss with a $99.4mn operating loss for the second quarter.
