Hannover Re P&C falls to 9M €145mn u/w loss as major losses top €1.1bn
Major loss expenditure of €1.1bn ($1.3bn) in the first nine months of the year has pushed Hannover Re’s P&C reinsurance division to an underwriting loss of €145.8mn, with claims related to the pandemic the main driver of the loss.
