Google’s £3bn Supreme Court reprieve a relief for UK cyber/liability insurers

The UK’s Supreme Court has rejected a claim that sought billions of pounds in damages from Google over alleged illegal tracking of millions of iPhones in a move warmly welcomed by the UK insurers who would otherwise have been exposed to significant potential liability arising from data claims.
