Generali P&C profits dip in H1 as books €218mn loss for European storms
Italian insurer Generali posted a P&C operating result of €1.26bn ($1.50bn) in the first half of the year, a 3.6 percent reduction on H1 2020, which the carrier said was driven by a contraction in investment returns in the division and higher natural catastrophe claims.
